Im willing to stake my next paycheck that somthing bad will happen if they picket at the miners funerals.  The couple miners i have met in my life were different then any other "kind" of ppl that i know.

Ever met someone that has somthing about them that just comanded respect? Not so much "im a badass" or "fear me" respect, but .... real herd to explain here. Kinda guys that would just chin up if you put a gun to their face or cave your skull in if you winked at their buddies wife.  I dont really know what im getting at here, but any protest at these funerals will have an UNequal and oposite reaction.

 

I hope they do go protest these miners funerals, I really do. Maybe the miners friends will then teach them to have some respect for grieving families. I would love to be there to watch the show. Phelps and his minions are not Christians, they are just a bunch of nuts. Its about time that someone gave them a beat down. West Virginia miners just might do it. You don't want to piss off coal miners.

What we need is a riot.  These assholes have gotten away with this sort of thing at soldiers funerals and other places because if you hit them, the law is on their side.  If 20 or 30 people hit them, it could be considered a riot and you could nail them for inciting it.  Well, it's just a thought, lol.

 

They're talking about coming to Maine to protest a high school play at a private high school in Portland, ME.  After reading this thread, I bet they'll be too busy trying to find a way out of the mine they're buried in.

They don't have a particular beef, and no I hope they don't get beat down.

Why? Because that is their job. To get hotheads fired up.

They go in trying to incite anger (and do a damn good job of pissin people off) for the sole purpose of suing their pants off.

So some angry coal miner gets a few punches in, and loses his house in the following lawsuit. Now he's locked up and his family has no place to stay.

Nope, I won't wish that on coal miners, gays, soldiers, or anyone else they try to instigate.

If no one paid attention to them, it would no longer be profitable, and they most definitely are motivated by profits/publicity, more so than genuine beliefs.

No....the miners will get slapped with some bogus "hate crime" charge, while WBC complaining their "rights" were "violated".

It's not about getting fined, it is about getting drug through court.

Pay close attention to these guys. They are very careful to skirt the border of legal vs illegal, trained instigators.
