Remove AC compressor and substitute an idler pulley.

Looking through all the posts in the search option, all the info I found suggested using an idler pulley when you removed the AC compressor so that you would again be able to drive the PS, ALT & WP. I need to know just what idler? what to look up at the parts store Here's the kicker........... (always seems to be a kicker huh...lol) The RC is an 84 2x4 with an 1974 318 in it now. The 74's used the V compressor, thus it did not use the offset to the left coolant snout, instead it was centered on the manifold, so I can't use my AC compressor. What I could do is use an earlier V compressor, but I'd rather just do away with the AC altogether and substitute an idler pulley mounted where the AC compressor used to be. Any ideas out there Boys? The alternative...... a Eddy performer manifold w/offset coolant snout location and the stock (84) AC compressor. I know that there has to be an idler that comes off of some Dodge Something that will work, I just don't know which one it is?

Well currently I have the 'problem' 74 Dart manifold, but yesterday I went ahead and stripped and cleaned and painted the 84 RC manifold. it looks like I'll switch and be ok with all the Accs. again including the AC. I think a Performer manifold is in my near future though, even with the ac and stuff.
