I have an 85 W150 with central axle disconnect. The axle is not disconnecting when I shift to 2wd. I've heard that there is a valve on top of the transfer case that can clog and not let the axle connect, could this also cause the front axle to stay locked? Or does anyone know what my problem is and how I can fix it? Thx

The cad runs off of vacuum. Check the lines running to your axle to see if there is vac there. Should always be vac in one of the lines.
If not then that is the problem.
