just seeing if there are any intakes out there for the 93 360 that i can put a demon carb on it instead of the throttle body, and would it mess up any of the sensors, thanks for any help.

just to  tell everyone about it, its a 93 dodge ramcharger canyon sport. green two tone. 5.9, 3.55  gears out back, 3000lb front axle (what does that mean anyway)  2wd, any help like said is really appreciated i just got it for 800 dollars and trying to fix it up.

Wouldn't your 93 have a magnum engine in it?  In which case you'd probably have to go to Mopar to get an intake that'll work with a carb.
But going carb would probably cost quite a bit as the computer controls the fuel and the spark.  So, new distributor, new ignition and new fuel pump to go along with new intake and carb.  And I'm not sure about the kinkdown for the trans if that will swap over easily or have to be modified or the proper 4bbl linkage located or go with a Lokar setup.

If it is a 360 Magnum 93 RamCharger, you have one of the rarest kinds of RamChargers around, and it is a Canyon Sport!  Why get rid of the EFI, it is superior to carbs.  It isn't throttle body.  I love my 93 RamCharger with 360 Magnum.  How'd you get it for so cheap?

Back to the original question.  Nothing would work really, cause the computer controls everything in the 93.  And without the engine, nothing would read correctly basically.  Sure Temp, fuel gauge would work, because they are seperate.

Any pics of the truck?

i didnt realise the 93 had the magnum engine in it, i thought 94 was the first year of the magnum 360, i know 318 was a magnum that year. yeah i know its pretty rare, with it being a sport and all. i havent seen another one around here before. i just lucked up on it, it has a cracked grill, and needs bumpers and a couple stuff like that, but the rest of the body is straight, and the interior is pretty clean for a truck of that year. i have alot of ideas for it. just seeing about that, i thought the throttle body of those years were kindof bad. thanks for the replies, i'll get some pics soon

Here is a quick brake down of TBI and EFI....

TBI was 89ish-91 on 318
TBI was 89ish-92 on 360

EFI was 92-02? on 318
EFI was 93-02 on 360

93 was the only year of the 360 Magnum in a RamCharger. 92/93 you could get the 318 Magnum.

I have an idea for it.....sell it to me.  :)
You can do a carb conversion. Mopar Performance sells a book that covers what wires need splicing, etc, to maintain functions, but while I'm usually one to say to go for it on a carb swap with true true TBI units of the late 80's, Magnums have much more out there in the way of possible mods and tweaks....computers, all that jazz, and it's relatively easy to do. The rarity of your particular model would also tend to make me resist major mods, but then, who am I to talk? I ditched the OEM drivetrain (318 TBI/A500) in my '89 Shelby for a 360 Magnum and bigger tranny (A518). So much for originality. Have fun.

hey thanks, i wish i had the money and do a chip fooseish design,  like 22 in the back 20 in the front bring it down a little but not too much, keep it green, put a simple but really clean sounding system in it, my  brother has a rear out of a d100 with the 3.92 gears in it,  or is it 3.91 mmmmm but i thought about puttin that in it and make the engine get more power and everything, make it really nice blend of power and handling. i know my gas mileage would go down but it would just be for weekends and stuff like that if i did do all of that. i want to get another 91-93 pickup of a 94-01 if the price is right to be a work truck, 3/4 ton if i can so i can fix up my ramcharger and make it right. working on house first have to have priorities

I have a 93 360 california 4wd RC that I picked up for $600, bought it for parts but it was too nice to part out, it is rough but everything works. The port fuel 360 is turn key and go. I have only had minor electrical problems. The torque is real good. 355 gear with auto trans been only off road since I got it.
