Hi guys,
I have an '89 Ramcharger w/318 TBI.. I have no spark from the coil and no fuel in the TBI. Will turn over fine, but will not start. Before it completely quit, it would run OK, but suddenly just quit. I could restart and it would run roughly for a short distance. Now, it will not start at all. Searching led me towards the Hall Effect Sensor. Upon calling the Dodge dealership, they tell me they do not carry the part, and a search of Advanced and Autozone shows no compatible parts. Dodge dealership did not instill very much confidence..
Anyone offer any words of wisdom? I not a "pro" mechanic and am willing to try what I can, but right now I am just trying to get this thing running, so I can get it to the shop where someone can check it out. Hate to pay to have it towed if I don't have to. But getting it running, would solve my problem anyway... Sorry don't mean to sound stupid..
Thanks,
Chris
