Some of you may have seen my posts and pictures about this issue, but I wanted to create a separate review for those who may be considering buying from this company.
Buyer beware - if they send you the wrong product, you are going to get no help or resolution other than throwing some money down the drain.
I purchased a carpet for my 2WD Dodge D150, the carpet arrived and the quality felt good. That's where the positive things ended, upon installing the carpet in the truck, the center was clearly for a 4WD vehicle which has a transmission tunnel approximately 2" higher than the 2WD.
I contacted OC Auto Carpets, and as per requested provided pictures, video and measurements indicating the wrong carpet was sent. I confirmed with other Dodge owners the dimensions and even the shape of the 2WD vs 4WD tunnel and the differences matched what I had found. They had me return the carpet to the manufacturer, and then informed me that the carpet is correct and it was install error. When questioned as to how this was install error, when the sides of the carpet fit perfectly and only the center did not (the carpet between 4WD and 2WD is identical except the center) they doubled down with a picture claiming that on the mold it fits perfectly. The picture of it fitting "perfectly" on the mold is hilarious in how poorly fitting it looks.
Here's the video I sent -
So now because of the absurdity of them refusing to accept it is incorrect, despite all the evidence to the contrary, I am out a 30% restocking fee + tag fee + return shipping fee.
Save your money and frustrations and buy from anywhere else. There are recent reviews on the BBB of people having the exact same issue of incorrect product being sent and the company refusing to accept it.
