Hey all, first off im new to this site, secondly, i just picked up my frist ramcharger a few weeks ago. Its a 1985 with a 318 4x4. Ive run across a few minor issues with it. Im trying to work out whats going on with the fuel gauge. When i picked it up the gauge was just above a half a tank, i topped it off which costs about 39 dollars. I then drove it up roughly 105 miles. The gauge went up to full when i filled it up but by the time i got back to my destination, it was in almost the exact same position as was when i got it. ive been driving it semi regularyly. no more than ten miles since i got it and i have not put any gas in it since. Well the gauge is still in the same position. I cant tell if i just have a big tank and my driving isnt enough to make an impact on the gauge, or if it is stuck at that position. I did some other researching and read somewhere that it could be a voltage regulator behind the dash, if the engine temp gauge doesnt work either, which in my case the engine temp gauge does not work. but im mainly trying to figure out the gas gauge at the moment.
