Is this a truck bell housing?

I picked up an 11" bell housing a couple of weekends ago, but do not know what it came out of.  I really don't care, but my curiousity is getting to me.  I'm thinking mid - 70's and newer truck.

I am pretty sure that is the correct casting number under the grease & grime.
