i have an 89 with a stuck idle motor on it it's a standard so it wasn't an issue till i started pulling my trailer loaded but anyway my question is does anyone have the destination for the wires in the wire plug so i can test the power to it before i just throw parts at it. and before you ask for more info it was stuck when i got it and it runs perfectly it just can't be idled the shaft in the motor is adj all the way in and the shaft is stuck all the way out and the motor doesn't acuate when you turn the key on i think someone took it off and plugged it in (don't do this) but anyway if u have the info on the wires to the motor example: 1 from the top plugged in + #2- #3pc ECT ECT thanks guys

first have someone turn the key ON while you stick your EAR close to it and see if it makes any noise , if it does the ISC is fine and it means the little gears inside are stripped out [ they make kits to fix it or a new one is a hundred bucks ]
Gotta watch that, I had one that made plenty of noise, only to find out someone took out the gears. Add in that you also need to look for movement.
hold up guys maybe i'm writng wrong here i don't want to replace it if there is nothing wrong with it i just needed to know where the wires went so i would know whats ground whats hot whats signal ect ect i have no prob replacing it i still have the one off my dakota but i don't want to put it on and find out the wires are not working properly and fry my good one cause this truck has had the motor changed and it was this way when i got it so i would like to test the wires BEFORE i go to replacing parts so if anyone can give me the destenation of the wires i can get started on the repair stage i just hate to buy a diagram just for that so i guess i'm cheap but i'd rather spend it on my other truck that is hungry to go faster lol
the 1988 dodge truck - dakota or full-size ALL use the same ISC so ALL the wiring is the same till 1991

yeah i started out to put a 440 in it and i had one with 15k on it out of a rv so i put 3" straight out exh put the disc brake 3:73 re ultra light wheels and tires paid for the headers and waited ......... and waited......then found out that man racing doesn't have the guy to build hed anymore so got my mon back and said to myself (i'm not going to gut this truck just to put that dinas under the hood so just as i was gonna switch plans a 2000 ram 3500 5.9 with a fresh motor in it fell from the heavens and i was gonna be smart and sell the big block and make that magnum my new love cause surely there are perf parts all over for that magnum motor WRONG well i disc that i'm not smart cause i sold the bb to buy parts for the mag and disc i F@#$%$#@ up i even took off the power st rack and put man and put the big springs in front and swapped alt cause last time i did this it was a 340 and everytime that chry alt hit 6.5 grand it came to pcs so thats the summory of my unintelligance so now everyone can throw rocks or laugh LOL
