New video on how to split a 727 transmission case getting huge air in a Ramcharger!! @ www.ramtuff.net under video sections.
Sorry guys been away for a while.
Well Honkey_ Tonk I ran the tires last season and they worked very well. I used 35x12r15 for the show n shines and 235-75r15 for comp. I know you are thinking who uses such a small tire?? Well with the gears I run and the short tracks indoor you need the extra power!!

And to Full Size, More flow, more power. I run under closed conditions and people are a good ways back from the truck when I run. Besides It sounds really loud and chases off the competition.

We finished first six times out of seven last year so I think we are doing ok!!!
Congrats going out to C&C Racing for placing first in the Calgary Monster Jam 2003 street warrior shoot out!! It was nice to see a Dodge on top where it should be!!!

Hey thanks for the info thereMG42PillBox, We found that out by chance not choice LOL. We built the headers cause they just looked really cool.( Sponser Idea!!) We got lucky when they sounded good and helped to reduce wheel spin off the line helping us get around the track quicker. We over did the horse power when we built this truck, but we have changed alot of other things like air pressure and weight placement. We also found a good stall to make up for the lost torque!!

As for the axles, We run the stock Dana's 44 and a 60. As for the ratio I never really figured it out. All I know is the stall, tires and 360 make it move really quick!! Plus we win a lot of races and put Dodge on top, What else could a man want right????
Hey pill MG42PillBox, NO one said you were an @ss, I look forward to reading other peoples hints and suggestions. That is how you learn, no one person knows it all. I have used a lot of things from this board to help my truck out. I didn't mean to sound rude, If it did i'm sorry :-[

My axles are both stock, It had a posi unit in the rear end when I got the R.C. My good buddy @ Dwight's Place Autobody welded on the gussets and square tubing to the front axle. All I know is never weld the spider gears, we broke axle after axle. I found that something has to give when you are beating things up. I have changed 3 frames in the last 4 years due to bends and cracks. You need a lot of metal to jump these trucks. I also found that the housing is weak where the tubes meet the pumpkin. A good weld around there helps out the most.
I just got the RC on the scale and it looks like 3530lbs. I would say that is a good diet!!!
:D
