Upon using the wipers recently, I put it onto high and there was a terrible noise from somewhere in the wiper system.
Noticed the blades slowed when the noise kicked in too.
Dropped it back to slow and the noise stopped.
I have yet to investigate what it was but Im picking something in the motor itself.
Are these units serviceable or do you simply replace them?
Looking online it would appear there are a couple of options, mine has an intermittant function,is this built into the motor itself or seperate?

Cheers,

GDU

the delay/ intermittent is a separate box , the wiper motor/gears can make noise , so can the plastic bushings in the arms , and the 2 shafts that pass thru the cowl . disassembly cleaning and lube , I have seen the shafts freeze up so tight I have no idea HOW it was working .
