Allright! Another chapter member! We must be all busy working or wheeling on our RC's to reply. I'm from Okotoks (just south of Calgary) and have a truck very similar to yours.
It's a '77 also, with a 400, just rebuilt 727, 203, and 1980 1/2 ton axles with stock springs. I had 35's on it but wore them out (they rubbed anyway), now it sits on 32's. How's the trails in beautiful B.C.??? 8)

Only 3.55's. They were way too high a gear for the 35's, but not too bad all round on the 32's.
The trails around here are pretty snotty, but if you have some well equipped buddies, I think it's a blast (until you run into a valley full of peat bogs). There is enough logging and survey roads around here to explore without getting too muddy though.
The trucks around here are mostly built Chevys and Fords, with a smattering of Toyota trucks and 'cruisers. I have only seen a couple of nice old Dodges.
My wife is from Nelson B.C. so I hope someday to check out those logging trails.

I am here in Alberta just east of Edmonton. I used to live in B.C. so I think the wheeling here in Alberta sucks and the muck is like snot. Hey I guess I am just not used to it yet. Hmmm and as for what I drive..... NO COMMENT LOL. Just say its not the RC and its not even a Dodge product but I am working read hard to make that happen. Just in the process of looking for a pre 80's RC.
Would love to drive down for RJ2003 but I guess we'll see what the future holds..........
a couple months later and I am now a pround new owner of a 76rc, needs alot of work but already started on it...its a runner with a 400 in it!!!!!!
Whatcha doin' to it??
