Well its a Edelbrock carb w/ electric choke. It is now cold and I need to adjust the choke accordingly because now it is dying when the engine is cold, and not running right until it warms completly up (and even then it backfirers out of the choke sometimes). I could dig out my book but its in storage so anyone?

Sounds like you need to go a little richer Mike. Not sure which way to turn the housing though to go richer, my Eddy carbs are all manual chokes

I believe that clock-wise is usually richer. But, in the black molded cover, there should be the word "LEAN" and and an arrow pointed one way. That indicates the direction to turn it to lean the choke. If you need the choke to stay closed longer, richen the choke slightly. Also make sure your high idle is adjusted properly.
