Stock 1990 RC. Tranny is a "granny low" 4 speed. I am also unsure about the transfer case. If anyone can tell me what they are, and about what they are worth I would appreciate. As soon as they come out of the truck, they are going up for sale. Also, can anyone recommend a good year 5 speed with transfer to upgrade to. I need to be able to run better on the highway.

Not sure about the tranny but the t-case is a np241.

you have a NP435 transmission and you need to go with the NV4500 transmission for a 5 speed overdrive. the 4500 also has a low gear. not quite as low as the 435's but still low. Keep your transfer case as it might or should bolt on to the NV4500

well unfortunately ur not kinda wrong, but all the way. thanx for playing though . dodge dropped the 208 in 88 and went to 241s.
