Hi all. As I dig into my trailduster and powerwagon, I start to wonder, What should I just go buy new and replace and what should I only worry about if it is wore or broke.

What I am doing is a tear down, rebuild but not every bolt or part will be removed.

What things should I just go buy, and what things can probably just stay put.

My brake system is getting completely replaced regardless.

Any thing else that I should most definately replace.
Thanks.

Other than obviously worn steering & suspension components, I would suggest replacing (with new) anything made of rubber. Wiring if it needs it.

If you want to eventually lift your rig, I suggest extended steel braided brake lines. And you can get an energy suspension master kit that will replace most of your rubber with polyurethane.
