Will the drivetrain including springs interchange between a 3/4 ton '76 powerwagon and a '77 1/2 ton ramcharger? What about doors, fenders and hood? Are they the same width? will bumpers interchange? I have a chance at buying an rc but I want to use my complete drivetrain..

I can buy the rc for $50 and I plan on using the rc's frame and body and use the pw motor, tranny, transfer case, both differentials, leaf springs, interior, and hood. What do you think? (POWERCHARGER)
everything should match up execpt for the driveshafts
and if you have a 205 t-case in that pw id like those driveshaft if you dont want them
i wounder how much it would cost to ship them to fla ???

It won't be that bad, I have a large shop and 3 forklifts!!!!
Interchangability is what the factory strives to build. If they can make a couple of different vehicles using the same parts, it saves them money. The RC and all pick ups are the same basic design, even though one is a wagon and the other a pick up truck. Other than those parts that are particular to a certain truck, everything was designed to be as similar as possible.

Thanks guys, Well I guess project "PowerCharger" will start soon!!
