well, do you have a carb? If you do, then you have a 360, if not, then you have a 318/5.2L, since they started to switch to EFI in 88 on the 318s, the 360s were one year behind, went EFI in 89.
You are absolutely correct...so what was the question? Can't really find the confusing part in the thread
I only said, that in 88 they switched the 318 from carb to EFI, so if he finds a carb under his hood of his 88 RC, he most likely has a 360, since that bigger engine turned EFI one year later, in 89.
