Hi all! I've got an '86 W150 with a 318.

It came with the electronic ignition without vacuum advance. I did the Chevy HEI conversion, and I was hoping I could also swap the distributor out with a vacuum advance distributor. Anything special to this swap? Anything I need other than a couple feet of vacuum hose? I've got years of automotive experience at this point, but I'm still new to anything pre-EFI so I'm asking questions about every little thing.

Oh, and if it makes any difference, I did drop a Holley 650 with a 360 4 barrel intake on the motor to replace the factory Holley 2 barrel setup.

Thanks, that's what I figured. Just wanted to make sure.

That write up is nice. I've already done most of those. Headers, exhaust, carb, ignition. Head work is next followed by a cam.

Thanks for your help
