Hello all,

In order to help me tune my truck, I bought a vacuumgauge.
just 5 minutes ago I tried it, I hooked it up tp a piece of vacuumhose coming from the small port on the carb which normally goes to the vacuumpod at the dizzy.
When the engine is at idle nothing happens on the gage, there's only some movement when I notch up the idle a bit, (I guess about 1200 Rpm), and then it moves into the green zone indicatin a healty engine??

is all that normal? or something wrong here? ???

the vacuum port you are using is a timed port. It will not have vacuum until the throttle is pressed slightly. find another port that has constant vacuum and report back

find a port in the intake or on the carb that is below the throttle plate
