Here is the before and after of my RC. A couple of people said I shouldn't have painted it, but I didn't like the yellow/gold feel. So far to date I have lifted it, patched one rust spot on the passenger side, tore off the trim and painted it. Inside she's running a new E-brock intake and 1406 carb. I use the Lokar kickdown setup and it works awesome. Next up is some headers and an exhaust.
The lift took a couple of days. Some of the spring bolts were frozen in place and had to be cut out. The trim was a quick deal to get off, but then I ground off all the rivets that the trim held on to...between cutting and patching, it was a good afternoon. For the paint, I kind of drew where I wanted the pattern to go and sprayed it out...which I split between 2 days.
