The first one, it does not matter. It is just two ends of a single on off switch.

I'll see what I can find on the second, it may take a bit though.

Do you have power locks and windows? I think that is the connector where they tie into the main harness. If you do not have them, that would explain it not being connected. I'll keep looking to verify my thought.

No this is on my 89 w150. No power windows and no power locks. Also my A/C doesn’t kick on.
Those first two wires are what turns the compressor on when the right buttons are pushed.

Did the AC work before? I would guess low freon, or something under the hood. That switch is rare to give issues.

No sir, bought the truck a year ago and just now getting around to trying to fix it.
Then I would just button it up, and keep it in mind in case you do not find another issue under the hood.
