ok, two quesions more of the where than how. I am looking for a decently priced set of timing gear drives for my 69 318 in a 74 W100. If anyone knows where this is available please let me know. Noisy set preferred. Also looking for info on which way to adjust vaccuum advance to do what to timing. I know, always the pain in the a$$!

Adjust the vacuum? You can adjust the timing, with the vacuum disconnected, then hook it back up, which will change how the timing advances throughout the rpm range, but ....

that set up is available from one place Milodon . That set up will not work on a stock or even mild set up engine . The harmonics of the engine will destroy the the top end in short order with a gear drive . that and the Milodon set up requires some machining being done to the cam plate as well .

Insert a 3/32" allen wrench into the vacuum pod through the vacuum hose nipple. Clockwise to increase vac advance, counter clockwise to lessen (retard) advance.
