My buddy bought these tires for his daily driver a 2001 Ram 1500 Quad cab Short bed.He is running 285/75 R16'S

These have been on thee truck about 2 months now and tested in all but snow they run verry quite with no noticable noise increase.
They have a 10 ply sidewall for a "D" load range
Just got home from the nationals which was about a 1600 mile round trip pulling a 18 foot trailer with a 73 roadrunner on it.Verry stable at highway speeds (even in the upper legal range 80 MPH +)
Hitting some heavy rain along the trip showed no sighns of the usual M/T squirmeness. At the fairgrounds there was some heavy mud in the non grassed areas being the thoughtfull people we are going in the mud to pull people out the tires really shined and pulled without slipping,

any visible wear already? I read on a couple of review sites that these tires wore out after 6 months/10-15K...just curious.
thanks for the review {cool}
Yeah i hear the same thing they wear out quickly, let us know bogie what there like with some mileage
G
everything made by interco wears out fast.... i dont think they make a tire with longevity in mind. but the soft rubber sticks like glue to anything. i bought the same tires for the cummins havent mounted them yet but dont expect them to last long.
For such a newer tire, I've heard a lot of people swear by them. But nothing about wearing quick. I've heard they'll last 30-40xxx? Seems hard to believe, especially for a super swamper. Let us know about the mileage.
I dont understand why some one would buy a 2500 dollar set of tires that wont last 6 months......I like the trxus.........I think for a Super swamper the are also priced decent..............Id like to try a set......

To bad that truck can't find it's way upstate
Im working on him ;D, he was going to attend the first meet untill it was cancled then he was not quite prepared to go the uppated date (work and obligations)
The guy who owns the local 4x4 shop is now running these on all 3 of his trucks after he tried them on the first one. I guess that speaks for itself as far as what he thinks of them. :D
im running those tires now and i swear by them they do good in ever sitution like road mud sand and ive heard rock one of the reasons why they dont have high road noise is because they are so soft they are quiter then my old at's as far as the lasting long deal i dont think they will but i dont see them being so bad
Positive results out of my tire shop so far.60,000kms on first test set 285/75r/16 on 97 f1504x4 regular rotations about every 6000 to 8000 kms and pressures running around 25psi.Worst milage yet 2002 dodge 25004x4 diesel at 30,000.Seem to work best on lighter units 1/2 ton 4x4s and under, good durability for the v-10 and diesel 3/4 and 1 tons but with the extra weight and rear wheel power dont expect milage.
Well here is a update we went back out to the Nats the truck has about 20K miles since the tires were put on they have some wear about 1/8 of a inch (if you look at the pic the center blocks are steped the upper most layer has worn off). For a daily driven truck that tows offten these have been execelent Tires.
Has anyone had these tires on snow and ice? There's a set of used ones for sale here that I'd like to pick up for my Ram, but if they aren't worth a damn on wintery roads I'll leave them alone.
As a update There have preformed verry well in all weather conditions they were on a daily driven truck for aprox 30,000 miles. They were replaced due to a lift with 35's of the same.
They still have a lot of life in them so they will be placed on my Wrangler. My buddy has stated these will be the only tires he will put on a DD truck from now on & he has tried many.
Just another update these have been transfered to my Wrangler for about 1K miles & just as good :D
Any comments on how they are in snow and ice?
they work great & excell in Mud or Sno, Ice does verry well due to the heavy siping
Are you playing the snow today.....?  calling sometime soon....maybe....
looking for a set of good tred but want it to last so maybe not this one , really anything with aggressive tred wont last to long
