Ok think I've read everything on here pertaining  to  transfercase drop. Which isn't much.
        #1.  Who's done a drop in a ramcharger?
#2.  What did you do to lower the automatic transmission linkage?
#3.  Did you just let the motor mounts hang at the angle? Pertaining  to #2. I was thinking of just welding a piece of steel to the top of the bracket where it bolts to the frame drill some new holes in modified  bracket,to extend it and use the existing holes in the frame to mount it up.  Might run out of room before bracket hits frame, dont know  yet haven't got that far.    Wud ya think?

don't forget to cut away the firewall where the distributor cap is , and do something about the front driveshaft , the little c/v joint has stop nubs you have to grind off or it will bind .    (why not lower the whole engine / trans assembly straight down ? just chop the mount brackets , refit them weld them , make a new crossmember by the front c/v joint  ). Lenghten the down rod for the trans linkage and readjust the throttle pressure rod , loosen the t/case shift handle push forward , retighten the 2 bolts ... then deal with the exhaust pipes new downward angle

A double cardan rear driveshaft is looking better now after all that dodge.

Unless you rotate the rear axle to match the new trasfercase output shaft angle, you will need the double cardian with the transfercase drop.

Thats why im trying to drop the transfercase, to match the rear pinion angle. Lowering the pinion angle to match the transfercase output angle did not work so well.
