I have a 98 ram 1500 4x4 w/ a 360. The problem im having is when im on the freeway my truck will shift into 1st, 2nd, and 3rd with no problem but it wont shift into 4th (overdrive). But when im in town it gose through all the gears. Its also running at higher RPMs now. On the freeway i was at 80mph at 2000rpm's but now i'm running at 70mph at 2100rpm's.
Also when im in town and just let off the gas it wont down shift like it use to all it dose now is feel like its in nutural. The truck doesnt sound the same either the exhaust isnt as loud as it ues to be. I have a 1 chamber flow so its always suppose to scream. It just dosent do that anymore.

Anyone know whats going on or what i can do. :-\

The higher rpms are indicative of your torque converter not locking up, which will also prevent OD from engaging.

Could be your TC is going out, or the computer has a fault code in it that is preventing it from telling the TC to lockup. At this point you need an OBDII scanner :(
