hey there,
what kind of problems am i looking at in putting a tf727 into an 82 blazer with a 305?
i know i can get an adapter plate, but my main concerns are with the torque converter and the kickdown.
will i use the cheb converter or do i need to use the dodge converter? will a dodge converter even bolt to a cheb flexplate or will a dodge flexplate even bolt to a cheb crank or will a cheb covnerter even work in a dodge tranny?
i have a 318 and a 360 converter or i have the 305 converter.
also, do i need to use the dodge kickdown linkage or do i need to use the cheb kickdown cable or do i just need to get a lokar cable kit?
this will be going in my dads 82 blazer (has a th350 that is in desperate need of replacement) and the 727 is out of an 84 rc, both have the 208 tcase, both are passenger side front outputs
any info you all can provide will be greatly appreciated as always.
thanks
eric
