does anyone know how many gears is in an 88 aw150 automatic tranny? i partially have a rebuild kit that was in the truck when i bought it. the engine is a 5.2 liter

Its a 3 speed automatic. Chrysler 727 if it is a aw150. aw means 4 wheel drive. i would not try to rebuild it by yourself unless you've been deep into a chrysler automatic before.
