Yeah, everything should work. 360's use externally balanced torque converters where as 318's use internally balanced converters. So if it came from behind a differenet motor, make sure you keep your old stuff.
the only problem they may run into is if these are 4wd vehicles we are talking about.
since the 79 would be a fulltime and the 80 a parttime the tailshafts will not interchange between the 2 transfer cases. since the 203 uses a different length tailshaft than a 208
