First off, on the damper, I can't find any marks. Do I go by the groove that goes all the way across the thickness, or should there be some other lines? I've cleaned the damper, but still don't see anything.
And how do I tell what tranny I have? I've looked all over, but can't seem to find any numbers. It has a dog-leg kick out on the front passenger side of the pan, but that's about all I can tell anyone. I need to order a shift kit, but I'm not sure what to order it for.
Its an 87 R/C 150 LE 4x4 with a 318 2bbl and 9.25 rear and front CAD, if that helps. Thanks!!
