what is the length of the steering tie rod bar on a dana 60 front? if it helps it came out of a 93 cummins SRW and when i got the axle it didn't come with the bar or the ends or anything like that.

cool if i can get the measurement i wanna order one of those heavy duty ones from off road design. i plan to use the same material to build a cross over setup. any idea on the length needed for the top bar in crossover as well? that way i can order them both at the same time

i also checked the how to out on the crossover setup for the 60 looks easy enough but the length isn't in there. even an approx length will work i'd much rather order too long than too short and obviously i want to set it up adjustable for alignment reasons

Why would you order 20 ft of tubing from off road design

what i'm saying is i need the approx lengths so i can order the heavy duty stuff offroad design offers. there's no way i need 20 feet of tubing maybe two 6 ft pieces but not 20.

Yeah i understand that but they come in 20ft lenghts, and i'll bet the 20 ft lenght bought locally will be cheaper than having offroad design send you 2 6 foot lenghts and then you'll have left over to do something else with if the need should arise, or if you screw up you may get 1 extra chance at getting it right

i see what your saying now but offroad design has them threaded already for tie rod ends that's what i was after.

Well then you better make sure you have everything set up right and measured perfectly, i would buy the weld bungs and tubing and do it that way
