i'm on the lookout for some 3/4 ton axles. My driveshafts are crap, i cant find a decent set of locking hubs for my front axle..and they are weak and wimpy like. Plus i'm gonna have to buy new tires for my truck anyways...so why not get crazy and do it all now?

if anyone knows where i can find a good set of axles please let me know. $500 range for the set?

I'd even be interested in buying into a truck with someone if they need a parts vehicle (minus the axles).

Actually I have a set of 3/4 ton axles out of a 73 p/w that I am thinking of selling. The only promblem with the ft axle is It has drum brakes on it. Let me Know if you want to see them.
i wonder how hard/expensive it would be to convert that front axle to discs?

Nick, buy that '93 front if it's good...I have a 4.10 rear 14-bolt axle for you.

Or, depending on what Baumer wants for the rear axle (I assume it's a Dana 60) and what ratio it is, you might want to keep it Dodge in the back. The Chevy front is good though, and $180 is dirt, provided it's all there (brakes, etc.)

Baumer, any chance of a Trac-lock in that rear?

I have an 87 with no motor or tranny. I am already dealing with someone who wants to get it, so let me know. I am known to show a little favoritism to RCC'ers. Call me if interested. 623-628-0148

If it is the one you got from me, those aren't 3/4 ton axles, but they are in good shape, complete with good brakes and everyting, 3.2 ratio, no suregrip in the rear. There was some manual hubs at the JY, but I think that RC has been hauled away to be crushed.
