hello all my name is keven and yes I am a ramchargerholic
I have a pretty sweet R/C it has had a rough life it grew up in Texas where it was a border patrol truck for 17 years and the paint was pretty much baked off of it, but it has no rust anywhere.. then a guy bought it to let it sit in his yard for two years then I bought it for $250.00 it barely idled.
a serious tune up, new carb, readjusted tranny, new A/C Compressor, new A/C hoses, evaporator, expansion valve, dryer, and all new A/C gasketts......... soon to be repainted, tinted windows, new tires and wheels, and glasspack mufflers and duals to go with my headers, since it was a federal truck it is emmissions exempt so no emmissins anywhere and I am forever replacing gasketts......but  386,000miles and she still purrs most of the time......
Ok 4 inch lift new springs front and rear.... 33x12.50x15's...

Well as most know I now have my 1977 she has rebuilt tranny, engine, rebuilt T-Case, rebuilt the front and rear Diffs new wheels and tires...

Working on the interior now.... other than that she is a nice little beast

My name is Donald (guess my last name). I live in Tulsa, OK. I joined RCC in NV after my call up and transfer to Fallon, NV.
I am 37 married with two boys, Zachery 20 months and Joshua 5 1/2 months. Oh and my wife's name is Amy. I'm a Union carpenter contemplating a new field of employment.
I own a 89 Ramcharger that was out of commission for two weeks. Broken 241 t-case. It has a four inch lift, 33x12.5x15 Kuhmo MT's, unknown brand wheels, trail modified front and rear bumper.

Hey all!!

Just finished putting a Borgeson steering shaft on the truck along with new rotors, caliper, pads, bearings and shocks.

The ride is better.  I need some advice on leveling the rear because of sagging springs.

Also, tomorrow, I am getting a brand new set of BF Goodrich M/T 33X12.50 on the RC.

All of the trim is back on and running great.  I am looking into BUILDING my own fuel injection from scratch.  ANyone interested in the info, email me.  This system will work with up to 16 cylinders and up to 16,000 RPM and it is SIMPLE!!

Anyhow, school is a real bear but going great.  I will be in Enid this Weekend for Reserve Duty.

Sound off!!!

Later

My 85 RC is finally coming back together. I am doing the rear disc brake swap and will be doing a shackle flip as well as a u-bolt flip. Hopefully the rear will be finished by the end of the month and I'll be ready for winter. I am thinking about gutting the interior and going with something like aluminum diamond plate for the door and side panels as well as a new dash and complete re-wiring. If I build new bumpers then my old ones will be for sale including my winch. Rich

Hey guys,I noticed a couple weeks ago that there was an older stepside Dodge a few houses north of Dads house.I know of the ladies son and decided to ask him if hed part with it.I was shocked! It turned out to be a 79 short bed stepside Power Wagon. He knew how we lost Garrett, and when I asked him what hed take for it,he said pull it home and its yours! It has a 360 4-bbl,727,208 T-case w/lock-out hubs. Its not a Warlock, but close. The bad part is that there isnt a title. My wife and I decided we are going to take our time and build it in Garretts memory when weve got spare $ Some plans include a 4-speed swap and about 4 inches of lift. The worst problems I have found is that it has a sunroof and the whole bottom of the cab is shot,so im going to have to swap that out.  Thanks,Rorry

Other than the poor ole 318 and gears the truck is incredible and i am looking forward to the mud drags at the canadian river this coming weekend! if anyone will be there let me know! I am the big grey and silver rc with black rock runner bumpers! and the music blasting, oh yeah after the new system that was also installed yesterday all sony explod but cheap and impressive!

Hey guys... I am back after a long time, my truck is for sale!  :'( I am in the process of buying a house and i am needing the extra money! Again i have an 88 rc 318 FI, 6 inch super lift, 35x12.50 tires custom bumper all new stereo interior is near flawless, the head liner is starting to sag. It has electric locks and windows. Has had 100% tune up in last 5 months, belts, hoses, plugs, wires, fuel pump, cap, rotor, tps, ets, all bearings and all seals except pinion seals, been waiting on those for gears but didn't get that far. The trans has new filter and has been flushed, the radiator was flushed, axles flushed, new fuel filter, new mile marker hubs, the list goes on and on... it will make an excellent toy! but now its my daily driver and need something more realistic. I am asking $5,000. 3000 in lift, tires, shocks, and steering stabilizer. You can call me at 580-461-0662.
Guymon,ok pick up only...... Thanx, Matt

Hey all...
I have a newer ride, although I've owned a 78 Ramcharger and an 81 W-150 stepside, among the 20 or so other Mopars I've owned in the last 30 plus year.
My current truck is a 2000 ram 1500 QC. It has a 5.9 V-8. Since it was ordered as a low end commercial vehicle, it doesn't have the luxo items except cruise and air. No power this or electrical that. It even has vinyl flooring. (Makes it easy to clean) It does have the H D package with extra cooling and 3;55 gears.
Mods include a custom 4 inch lift made from Rough country and BDS components, with a Lindstad track bar. The stock LSD handles rear traction.
Motor has dual outlet catback, modded throttle body, msd coil, and a modded FIPK by K&N. Oh, and a Hughes valley pan.
I have installed subs run by an Alpine amp to give the Sony head unit a bit extra thump.
And lastly, the freshly rebuilt transmission has a PMI pan, Aftermarket cooler, and temps are monitored by a B&M guage.
Theres a few shiney pieces here and there, but I offroaded it often in Arizona and have plenty of scars to show for it.
It's rust free and it's paid for...so I'll keep it.
Thanks for reading.

Hey folks!  dunno if this counts,  but the name is Morgan,  go by the nickname of Husky or Hybrid, and  a soon to be Tulsa resident.  Yeah leaving my mountians here in Montana to go to school in Oklahoma....dont know how crazy i am yet.
My old truck is a nightmare :p  no, shes great.  I have a 1983 Dodge Power Ram Stepside 4x4,  hauled around by a punched .30 over  225 Slant six.  dont knock on the six, i have yet to pull a six banger out of any spot.  its all v-8s and 4 cyls.  No lift,  and probably not going to lift it.  shes too pretty.  yeah,  i'm a sucker for the damn thing.  4 speed with a 208 t case.  shes ex forest service,  so no emissions and stouter axles then the civilian rams.  D44 up front and 9 1/4 rear,  and in a half ton!  shes a work in process, like all the best are,  but at some point i plan on finding a toyota landcruiser pickup or a Land Rover truck (already found one,  but the guy doesnt want to part with it)  and shove a 225 init and dana 44s front and back.  i know.  i'm a banked six nut.    leave it alone LOL

Welcome to OK, you will be here just in time for RamJam.  Anyways, I looked at my Dodge today, wish I had about a thousand bucks to dump in it, and it would be how I want it.  I Stole the coil off of it for my jeep, so the jeep would get better gas mileage, since it was a blaster II coil, and it was just sitting there, other than that the dodge is sitting in the yard with no insurance.  Really wanting new shackles for the front like jungle makes, and currently looking for an old Dakota to steal the rear shackles off of it, and do the reversal on my truck, then a locker for the front very soon.  Job is proving to be lucrative, just less time now for myself.  Wish that I knew people that could hook me up with easy parts and a welder that isnt always locked up, and they dont use it, but o'well.  In time, in time...  Hows everyone elses rigs coming along?

I mentioned most of what i am about to type in the meet and greet thread.

Landon Miller, 1979 RamCharger 318. sits on 31's.
i have had it for about 2 or 3 months, went looking everywhere in this state and the connecting state hunting down a 75-79 RC. finally found one in Arkansas. the price was a bit much for everything that isnt with it. 1700.00 but i have been looking HARD for a few years and that was the closest i could find.
i am not a wrench turner, so everything i am doing to this is a learning exprerience to me. literally everything. i am the noob of noobs when it comes to this!

Thats not a bad sounding rig, 1700 isnt a bad price either, as long as it was running and the body is in good shape with good axles.  Well, if ya ever need any advice or help, I am sure me or anyone here can help you out man.  I mainly sit at work all day on either this forum or jeepforum helping people trouble shoot their rigs, and figure stuff out.  Just dont be afraid to post.

I'm Bradley, but will go by my RC's name...WilburBeast is a nearly stock 87 RC believed to be the 3rd owner, bought it from the music minister @ a church in the older snooty part of town (where the top speed limit is 25) 318/727 2wd. PDL (one works) PW (the other one works), Cruise. One working Wwindshield wiper...but it's the driver side so that'll do for now.  The trans pan gasket wasn't put back on right, and the beast leaks a little bit of anything liquid, just put on a new driver vent window & had someone install new quarter glass on the same side...still needs lots of little stuff, like a roof hatch without box tape on it...but for 400, I don't think I got hurt on the deal.  I robbed the 30x9.5x15 Goodyears off the 70 Wagoneer that was given to me and put em on the RC b/c the RC had some rotting out stock size tires.  The Tape Deck & speakers seem to have issues, but as someone that used to do sound reinforcement for bands & Dj back in the day, it will get sorted out with spares I have laying arround.  Besides, I'm to the point in life that about all I listen to is the radio.  Recently discovered the dash light.  Amazing what joy a new bulb can bring.  with AC & Cruise from Edmond to Tulsa still got 19 mpg.  Was originally brown with tan stripe, but got a cheap overspray of just brown... some sparkle in the paint still.  some trim missing, plastic lenses are all cracked or worse.  Custom pinstriping seems to have been a 3 man job by the clasic trio - Rusty Fence, Scraggly Busch, & Whittey Wall.  Buddy of mine looked arround in the RC took in the tears on the seats & headliner, the cracks on the tan plastic interior, the wear on the carpet... asked me how long it took to clean it out, explained all I've cleaned so far is the glass.  His words, "For $400, this is an Amazing vehicle."

Question... should there be an anti-sway link on the back side of the front wheels connecting left side to right?  It looks like I should have one but that it maybe broke off.... Handles like my Volvo did when it had a broken anti-sway link...
yeah, i Broke the anti swaylink in a 4door 4 cyl car... maybe i should upgrade to 4wd...  when the $ comes, that is.  I'm job hunting :-(
