got a friend that has one the same year, but a 4X4.. no engine. everything else there... thinkin about getting it and swapping cab & bed....

well, I bought a 85 1/2 ton with a 318 & 727 from the buddy I gave my ramcharger grill to...The p/u has electrical problems so it would be a good doner for the d-50 to get a decent engine The 318 was supposed to have been rebuilt about 20,000 miles ago.. think it might get a mild cam and then get slid in the D-50..... Anyone ever done ( or helped) do this swap?? 318 in a d-50.....Sounds great anyway...
