Some time between 1500 zulu August 17 and 1400 zulu August 18 some worthless piece of shit (sorry, i'm very emotional) stole my 1980 plymouth trailduster in Wichita, KS. I have a hunch it is headed south to mexico, so OK, TX members keep me in mind.

If you see this truck on the road or for sale on craigslist please notify you local police and them me, PLEASE!

Thank you to the best damn site in the world!

I wish you had a button you could push when it was stolen. I would get more gratification out of that then getting the vehicle back.

What sucks the most is I just put it all back together and didn't get to road test it. I started a new job, moved 3 hours away and had it stored at my brothers when this happened. Sorry low life piece of cow shit mutherf----

What is worse is when my two daughters could not stop crying because they new how much it meant to us.

Thank you for any time you take reading this post. Even when your belongings are safe, they aren't.

A big concern if you are into classic muscle cars is the fact that theft is at an all time high.
If left stock, they are EASY so steal.
I have been thinking of some kind of system that uses line locks; if the key is not in the ignition,(or a key fob that works like a prox key ) the brakes stay locked no matter what.
Back when I drove my '69 Coronet a lot; more than once did I come out of the mall or some place and find some suspicious looking guys hanging around the car.    :mad:

I will keep an eye out up here.  As you said, I highly doubt they would drive it around here.  I can honestly say I haven't seen one like it around.  It wouldn't be hard to spot.  The title wasn't in the glove box, was it?

One of my friends used to live in Wichita had two 5.0 Mustangs stolen from him.  One was in the locked garage the other had a good alarm on it sitting in the driveway outside his bedroom window.  First one stolen from garage was never found.  The second one's remains were found about a week later.  All that was left was the tub/shell.  Cops were able to ID the remains only because the thiefs missed one VIN sticker inside the tub.  They even took the little rubber bumpers for the fuel door when you close it so it does not hit the body!!  I have a picture somewhere around here of the remains sitting at the tow company.  BTM

i would check local fields and places known for thieves,they might have driven not that far away to take tires and wheels.everyone needs to know dont look for that color truck alone,when my dads work truck was stolen they painted the utility doors blue and took the lumber rack off.they ran out of gas on the freeway on the way to(you guessed it MEXICO) when we got it back we found 0ver 40 porno mags and a glass pipe in it {flipoff}
