My trail Duster currently has the stock 2bbl intake on it. A guy at work just replaced his 87's Rams' cast iron 4bbl intake with an aftermarket one. He said I could have his old one if I want it. Now my questions are, will it be worth it to put the cast iron 4bbl intake on, or would it be a waste of time? If you think aftermarket, what is a good low end friendly intake? What kind of carb should I get to go with either intake? Or, should I just stick with what I have, since the engine is stock and I'm not really having any problems with it right now?

The factory 4 intake will be a huge improvement over that 2 intake you have now, aftermarket 4 intakes are an improvement over the factory 4 intake.
If you were to go this route the low end will gain a good bit, the mid range will really wake up.

The weiand and edel dual plane intakes with around 700cfm vs carb, must be a vs carb not a dp, i like demon carbs.
