Recently there ws a post about losing ground to the strter relay.. Today I looked at the Dodge factory manual on page 8-184 electrical--wiring diagrams.
In the center of the page just to the left is the starter relay. Now look at the bottom terminal which connects to circuit N. If the vehicle has manual transmission it goes to ground N in the diammond; but if it has an automatic that ground is not used and circuit N concinues to neutral start and back-up switch. That is the way it should be.
However go back to the relay and note that on the relay where the spade connector is they show it going directly to ground. If that were correct the other two ground positions would not be necessary and useless. Comments?

Doesn't anyone have the factory manual that can look at the diagram and tell me I am missing something or the book is wrong?

OK I know I am bumping this up to the top . . . however doesn't one of the 38 viewers have the 85 factory manual?
