I have a 1997 dodge p/u, 318, that stalls pretty frequently. It usually does it when the engine is warmed up or started up again in a short amount of time from the last one. I changed out my IAC motor and still does it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Could be one or more things. Idle speed set wrong, fuel filter clogged or water in gas, faulty sensor some place (check temp sensor first), faulty emission component/s, plugs could be worn out or not gapped right, or a vacuum leak in the throttle body or hoses, or air in the fuel system or a bad fuel pump!

Have you had the computer scanned for error codes? First 2 things that come to mind are fuel pressure and your coolant temperature sensor. Do you get any black smoke from the exhaust once it does start?

I just changed out my temp sending unit last summer, and my fuel pump changed last January. I keep trying to pull up any codes, but none will come up. No black smoke niether and checked the gap in my spark plugs.
