Does anyone know of a fix for this, or somewhere I can get a new/refurbed one?  I'd rather not have to keep swapping them out to find one that works.  I am pretty sure the cable is good.  When I shut the truck off, it was stuck at 40mph and stayed there when I pulled the cable.  Tapping the back of the speedo, it settled back to 0.

my 80 was sticking.
the needle warped and was touching the face.
i tried to bend it away and broke off the teenie thin piece of brittle plastic.
i found a very small vacum tee and cut off one branch and had an L
slid in a noodle from a WD-40 can and cut it to length.
pushed it onto speedo pin and away it went.
been perfwect ever since....

There's Bushings in the Speedometer too, particularly the Rear Bushing right where the Cable connects, there should be a little Oiler Hole on the Speedometer right in front of the Cable Connection.  Little bit Of Air Tool Oil, and it should be good as new (provided it's the Bushing that's grabbing)
