'69 318 in '74 W100 (electronic ignition). can anyone see if they might have a part no. from Mother Mopar for a performance spring kit for a distributor> thik the springs in my advance are shot. can't find a dealer who can find this and i know you use to be able to get just the springs

Thank ya Bogger35, will call dealer in the morning. now can anyone give me any ideas on pulling the dist. out of the motor with motor and intake installed in truck? 74 W100 w/ 69 318. Have never been able to get the dist. clamp off

What do you mean you can't get the dist clamp off? You mean you can't get a wrench to reach it or you can't turn the nut?
If you just can't access the nut, get a distributor wrench and you'll be good to go.

ok, i know i need a distributor wrench, just having difficulty getting to the hold down bolt without pulling the intake

second question, I am going to replace the likely worn out distributor advance springs in my dist. once i do that how should i set the vaccuum advance once the springs have been replaced before putting a light on it
