These are a few pics of the progress on the gas door and door handles on his green truck (handles came off a '02 Dakota sweet!)

yeah come on tell us
I used the skins that out of a 95-up full size doge to mold in the door handles. The tab that holds the pull rod is pretty much the same as the stock door handle. I had a friend of mine do the actual cutting and positiong of the door handle. he pretty much eyeball lined up the door handle in the same position as the stock door handle.

I bent up some new pull rods for the locks & the handle. the whole thing took a couple of hours to do both doors. It is more simple than it looks.
Hey, thanks for the info!
what's the solenoid for? or was that already said? excellent work though.
The solenoid is for the gas tank door inside the bed.

Rod

do you always stand it up against a tree when working on it? i can see where it would help sometimes but... :-\
I backed my truck up against the tree & a buddy I pulled it off of the truck & leaned up against the tree because I pressure washed the under side & undercoated it. But the main reason is because I only had one extra hand to help get it off of the truck.
