My shifter on my 85' Ramcharger is losse and it leaks oil from were it goes into the tranny what should i do?

There is a seal there. The only problem is that to get it out you need to drop the tranny pan and valve body. You can take the shifter linkage and kickdown lickage off and it will drop out with the valve body.

I dont think the seal will come down I know on my RC I had to do the seal and had to drive it out up twords the floor I had the same leak 3 dollar part thou easy fix.

My bad, I meant that the valve body would come down not the seal. And yeah you do have to hammer it upwards from the inside of the tranny.
