I'd like to get some not too expensive seat covers for my 88 rc. Can't find any in stores. Does anyone know who can make these to fit this type of bucket seat?

Do you mean custom fit ones? Or just some walmart cheapos? I put a set of walmart cheapos on my truck. They fit ok, the only thing you have to do is pull out 3 or 4 of the hog-rings out of the bottom where the seat and the seatback join together. Then you can push the center flap on the seatcovers through the gap. The passenger seat is pretty easy, because it tilts forward, but on the drivers side you either need to take off the seat, or spend some time on the floor and reach under the seat to get the hog rings out.

Hog ring is a stiff wire just about the same diameter as coat-hanger wire. The wire is cut a couple of inches long and shaped like a "C" a special pair of plyers with indents grab the top and bottom of that "C" and then it can be squeesed throuhg a section of fabric around the wire or steel bar of the seat frame. Once squeesed it is "O" shaped (for discription purposes) and about the diameter of a dime. If you look under your seat and find where the fabric ends you should find them attaching the fabric to the frame of the seat. Follow link to see several sizes of hog rings:
