I was just looking at the figures for
the RJ-03 poll, according to the figures
in the poll- it appears that only 0.025% of the
total membership has responded- and out
of that number only about 45 are attending
which comes out to about 0.007% of the total
membership- these percentages are as of roughly 1:04PM
EST-on 4/2703, using 6391 as the most recently
posted # of members- and whatever the poll statistics
were at thyat time,

I would have gone but family is having get-
together in the oposite direction-NY on the 4th
havn't seen sister in eons.

Larry

P.S.- by the way it would have been an extra 25 miles more than last year- hmmm seems like they are moving further west and south.

It's more than 25 miles. Manhatten is about 1.5 hours from Jay's place. One of the biggest things we looked at this year was a public place that was still in a centralized location for everyone. As much demand as there is for it, I wouldn't be surprised to see it further east or west in the coming years.....however....I see even less people attending the more extreme we get in one direction.

i think people are going to be leary of the idea of overcrowding. i'll still go, but i'm hoping to get a camping spot and my turn at the park. if not, it's not like i'm all that far away....

There is no overcrowding issue, please don't start that RUMOR! The poll was way before any mention of limit on vehicles in the park.

For one, there is more then enough camping grounds for everyone, which we can select one as a meeting point for all members to "shoot the shit".

Second, as the overcrowding of the ORV Park, I have talked to a couple of local offroad club members there and they have said they have never seen anyone not be able to go into the ORV area because it was over crowded. And this was with bigger events held then Ram Jam (as in people offroading).

As I said before, the amount of members actually going to hard core wheel is very little. There will be no overcrowding issue!

I have seen probably 200ish vehicles out there at a time before. Granted it takes a little longer to go through the trails, and it takes communication between groups, but it is not that bad. It also provides time to sit and talk with new people. ALso, I am guessing that a lot of you guys will be into playing in the mud, from what I have gathered, which normally isnt that busy of an area. Most people stick to the trails, with a handful or two in the mud. Don't worry about overcrowding it. If it comes down to being an issue, I know I volunteered some of our club ot help guide the trails, we can park our rigs and ride along with one of y'all and lead you through. We get to wheel the park all the time. Just my input on the situation.

maybe for Ram Jam 04 we should have two of them an east and a west, and have them at differant times so those that want to do booth can. You know kind of like bike week.

I'm probably going to spend most of my time in the mud and pulling people out of it and thats OK with me.

I hpoe this doesn't come across wrong. but I don't think anyone has a chance of going where I can. I can drive places you can't even walk. A person puts about 8psi per square inch my truck only puts about 2psi per square inch. I cant wait to get in the mud :D

The % is shockingly low there. I hope to go but will have to see what hapens. Personally I kinda like the idea of moving it around and having it in a differant place every year. That way eventually its close to almost everybody. Hell there is about 15-20 states it could be in and be same or closer to me than KS.

You better bring a bull dozer with wide mud tracks, even 4wd backhoes get stuck in the soft stuff. If I can't pull you out, you aren't walking out your wading out.
We shall see. ;D ;D at least hopefully. need to see what the wifes doc says. being thta she is going to be 31 meeks PG. I'm hoping he lets her go because if she doesn't go she's more then likely not going to let me go. :-[

LOL no not a mil. doc they would never have a problem with it they would let her go at 40 weeks. she doesn't have to go on all the trail rides or mud runs she just has to be able to go.
