I want to replace the front shocks in my '89 RC 2WD. Before I start thou, how dificult is the task? I have replaced shocks in front wheel drives, and rear shocks on RW. Does anyone have a HOW-TO on it? And will i need to realign the tires after the project?

shocks are east one hint i use is put vaseline on the posts and inside the bushing it slides on a lot easier

front shocks on a dodge 2wd is about as easy as they get for shocks. i have an 89 rc 2wd too (go us!) and the shocks are easy. jack it up a bit under the control arm. undo the two bolts holding on the lil bar on the lca. then start to drop the shock out. then undo the top nut and take it out. reverse the steps to add it in. you can lube them a bit like ken-e said. and also its easier to put the bottom stud in before you put the shock in.
