Well Red started out very ugly. I had massive body work done, pannel replacement and then stripped of paint, primered, the got a nice coat of Victory Red paint and a very shiny clear coat.

THe lift will be about 8inches. Skyjacker, Tuff Countery & Tiger Built.

The accident happened here in York, PA. THere is a one lane under pass and both sides have a "Yeild to on coming traffic" sign.
Well I was in line of traffic. When the pick up in front of me started to enter no one was there so the rest of us followed. Now keep in mind this underpass is a car lenght long. When pick up entered in (I was behind him) this little escort came fling towards us. The pick up didn't even make ih through when the escort was there. Then I realized and locke up the bracked and tried to swirve but he was comeing way too fast and nailed me. He said he didn't have a yeild and then I showed it to him. Then he tried the I didn't see you trick. Right. You just were distracted by the pick up you ran off the road. ::)
So the cops blamed me and fined me 105 dollars and gave a 3 pts.
He told the cops I sped up to hit him. I had skid marks the moved from him pushing me. I had been almost stoped.
I can still picture it. Hear it. It was traumatizing. I will no longer go through that underpass. I take the long way.

If I sat in your truck, I would bash my knees against the dash! ;D

That's a real nice ride. Hope you get Red back on the road soon!

My friend & I both are. So is the retard that hit me.

I'm rather short at 5 ft so I need my seat up that far. It's kinda funny. Everyone is asking how I'm going to get in. I'm not used to stock trucks though. My dad has a J-10 that is lifted up and I drove that for a long time. My mom has a 4x4 van that is lifted and I took my driving test in that.

I got new wheels & tires finally!! I'll put pics on soon!

Here are some shots of my new wheels & tires. I want to get some other shots too but these are when I had gotten them. I'll do some next to my little one and next to my truck. When I get my truck done I'll stand next to it so you all can laugh.

tires and wheels look awesome. that is exactly how i would want to have my truck set up( 8 inch skyjacker and 36 inch iroks) if maryland wasn't so picky about lift laws.

Isn't MD the state that outlawed the Liberty Renegade because the roof mounted lights were too high?

I only remember reading about it in Four Wheel & Off Road and thinking how ridiculous it is...I would bet half the people that bought the Liberty Renegade don't use the roof mounted lights anyway.

The lift laws in that for PA are not true. That is what they TRIED to pass but it never went through. It's 30 inches from the bumpers. I met a lot of the editors and they are a bunch of paryt hounds. They don't get their facts right.

You just drop your bumpers down a tad. I'm not doing any body, just suspension. It'll work. ;D Besides, the cops around here don't pull over chicks in big trucks. They are scared. It drove a lifted J-10 for a while and had no mud flaps but as soon as my dad took it out he got pulled over. They said normally this little blond drives it and were concerned that it was stolen and then they said he need mud flaps. He he!

That you could do.
Maryland has some dumb laws.
So does PA. But if you register in PA but live in MD then the cops really won't bother you.

in tennessee our bumper law is 36" from the bottom of bumper to the ground. What we do to get by is take a piece of pipe about 1 to 1 1/2 diameter and weld some metal to it and bolt it to the frame so it is underneath the bumper and the state troopers wont bother you. Here you have to worry about the troopers the local cops could care less.
