I haven't done it yet but I will be doing it soon. I bought my brackets from that guy and they look very clean and professional. I'll see in the next 2 weeks how they bolt together.

I have been looking at the diff covers he is selling. I beat the hell out of my rear 60 cover this weekend and I need to replace it. What do you guys think about his diff covers?

mrpeal has done it, he bought the brackets off of ebay, but he used calipers off of a 77-78 caddy I believe, since they have the emergency brake setup.

I will be doing this soon as well. I have to redo all my brakes, so might as well go disc in the rear.

yeah, the calipers are off a 77-78 eldorado. If you don't use them, you won't have an e-brake

Made my own set-up with frontcalipers.
Only thing is to make an adapterring to fit to the axleflange and enlarge centerhole of the disc.

And without caliper and disc:

And e-brake; made one at the rear of the TC with a (overhere in Europe) standard caliper from a Peugeot (French-sorry-car)with cable-e-brake-setup.

I'll be more than happy to make a "how to", but there are some custom parts (made by myself) involved, like the caliper adapter, e-brake disc and e-brake caliper bracket.
If that's no problem, I'll make a how to with pictures/drawings.
Allready made one in Dutch for our website, so I'll only need to translate (you don't speak Dutch, I assume??).

Let me know if your interested.

I emailed the ebay guy yesterday, seeing how much he would charge for shipping to Canada. Hopefully he gets back to me sooner than later.

Actually I would of been better off building my own. I had to cut a large section out of the bracket to fit it over the axle tube, then I had the grind the shit out of the inner portion so the bracket would mate up flush with the mounting flange.

Now I have to pull all of it back off and grind inside the bracket where the caliper mounts. It is such a tight fit my dad had to use a hammer to get the holes to line up. I didn't think about it at the time, but since it is so crammed in there, the caliper can't slide, so the whole thing has to come off.

I was really dissapointed in those brackets. Yes they are laser cut and look good, but once you cut the large section out and are done grinding, they look home made anyways.

So all this time cutting and grinding on the brackets, and now having to pull everything off to work on them again to make them work right, I could of built myself some that worked the first time.

But thanks Matt for the brackets :)

I will wait to finish the how to once I pull everything back off and "fix" the caliper brackets.

You sure the nuts weren't in the box? I'm pretty sure they were in there. That sucks that they fit that lousy.
