I have no idea what this post is in refrence to ...... im going looking now...... but why not put forth a lil effort to resolve a problem before you throw the towel in and walk away from somthing you obvesouly care about. if there are members that are harassing others damn it talk to them directly. and if fore some reason you dont feel up to the challenge to do so email me at [email protected] and I will handle it. but dont leave this site because of the actions of a few, or an individual. deal with the situation then put it behind you and go on.

I do have the ability to read IM's and change them, but do you really think I have enough time to look through everyone's and do just that?

I just went back and reread the threads and to me it just looks like a few friends ragging on each other.

I know a few people left the site, and I know the real reasons they left. I also know some people left because those other ones left, but since they didn't take the time, or even care to hear both sides of the story, they left for the wrong reasons.

lol, Glenn, do you seriously think I have time to read over 100,000 IM's? I have already heard the claims, and I expected you did too.

I "assume" that certain people are saying I invade their privacy.

When we had the "redthumb440" incident, I had put a check in the IM system to forward all IM's involving my name and Jay's name to me, in hopes of catching the prick. But, shorly after implementing the check I had to remove the check for Jay's name since so many people either mention him or send him IM's. Since it was going to my account, I didn't get many mentioning my name (IM's sent to me didn't get resent to me), so I never took it out.

But a few months ago, I started to get them from Jay and Carlos, and with other incidents that had happened I felt I should read them. The things they said about the site and many members, including all of the Mods excpet for Smokey, made me confront them about it. They got pissed off since I "caught" them, and I knew what would eventually happen.

I am not sure what they told you, but I don't invade people's privacy. I don't have time to do it even if I wanted to. We have a site disclaimer at the bottom of every page. Read that. Everything entered into this site become property of the site. I don't care to read, nor have the time to read everyone's IM's. I don't even have enough time to read all the messages on the board.

But the things they said warranted me reading those. And it isn't like I went into their profile to read them, they were sent to me.

I own this site, I have access to everything in it. The same goes for ANY site you go to.

I am not going to defend myself in my own house. If anyone has a problem with me have access to everything, tough shit.

So maybe you should re read your post.

Hate to say it guys but I have been parts of many boards that go this same way. The bigger they get the more "problems" their are and eventually every one gets mad and leaves and the site falls way off. Eventually things start to come back and it starts all over again. I have seen it many times. Obviosly their is way more going on here then I know about, Its still a great site. By far the best Dodge message board to date.

I will say im behind Sam , and as for the rest of you wtf is the problem here man, i don't get it sometimes you know when you got a problem keeping it top secret doesn't fix it, either say to the person what it is or hang out the laundry for all to see, you know running away or ducking for cover makes you look guilty or like the problem, but it shows you who your friends are, im not going anywhere, sorry if that bothers anyone

No matter what, there will be a member or two that gets under you skin every once in awhile. Evildriver and myself didnt see eye to eye in a recent discussion, but it certainly didnt turn into anything personel. I still enjoy reading his posts and look forward to meeting him in person at RJ2.

The larger this site gets, the more this stuff can happen.
