That will never take off. The sky's would be littered with those dumb things and real planes couldn't fly, plus people would shoot them out of the air or steal them for shits and giggles plus I'm sure a bunch will crash or have parts failures that would make them fall out of the sky. Plus how far is your lunch or whatever being flown from? 150 miles? Lol. I think it's a kids pipe dream to be honest. Let's hope..

That drop down part maybe. Did you see what they are doing now in Africa? that is what is impressive. They are doing it now, and it works for them. Would not work here, but still quite impressive.

I could see it being useful in many rural areas. We still have many rural areas that get cut off from the rest of the world for days to weeks with the big winter storms. This would be a way to get medicines or other needed items to them.
