The rear of my frame took a good square shot right on the right side and survived it like a champ. The 2003 Toyota that struck me was totaled and yet my frame was mint. 😁

That guy should go to prison for MOPAR abuse. It's just a metal scrapyard now. The only thing I see that is salvageable is VIN's. Then build a catalog car like Worman did. I do see chrome and glass that can be used too, but not much else.

And we wonder why some parts are so hard to find any more.

A lot of smaller farmers are still using those models yet especially that IH 1460 machine. I hate derby, derby guys and scrappers. And I used to work at a scrap yard. Man I always came home with stuff. A lot of daily drivers outta that place for stupid shit. My 07 300C 117k miles need battery and tires been driving it for 2 years now.

That is sad. I know some are a good source of Chrysler flathead engines.

Many moons ago, a friend worked at a junkyard, he would buy a car every few months, drive it for a bit and sell it for a great profit. I understand now most states they have to report the cars they take in within so many days, and they cannot be titled after that.

Yea, posted that in the wrong thread, good thing I know someone that can move it quick.

I have never been to a demo derby. I hate them. I have seen too many people hauling awesome old big block boats of all brands off to the derby.

That was some awesome sold old machinery that got destroyed.

Read the ridiculous comments left by the Pherd lovers.

Oh yeah. :D

Kinda odd - last I knew derby's were big in your part of the world. Recall a couple at the Allentown Fair from almost too young to remember. I always make great scores from derby guys because they're in to the car cheap and will sell every piece they pull for way below market before tossing in the dumpster. I hate to see a nice piece go to a derby just like I hate seeing a nice piece go to the boneyard. If it's crusher bound either way, try to have some fun with it. Figure 8 racing maybe. Recall a fwd econobox derby that just killed the whole thing for me.
