;) :)if i didn’t post this in the right part i’d this forum i’m sorry idk how to use this but any way
i have a 1989 ramcharger it was carb swapped it runs great and has 0 problems with a full tank but after i burn about 5 gallons or drive for around an hour it starts acting up and back fitting chugging stalling i pulled the tank out and adjusted the fill line to make sure it was at the bottom of tank my next step is to drill holes in the cup on the sending unit any other idea as to what it could be any advice is greatly appreciated

are you sure its starving for fuel and not the ignition coil getting hot and causing the problems, when this happen you gotta have ALL the tools and test equipment with you to diagnose it , pull fuel line off Carb , a helper crank motor over to check fuel volume , a spark tester
